Enough is Enough, Already!!
Stop buying toxic Chinese goods, start buying USA again!

Over the last several months, Americans watching the news have seen recall after recall of all manner of products, beginning with toothpaste, then rapidly expanding to food products for pets, toys, food products for people, cosmetics, and more; all because of toxic ingredients.

This should not surprise anyone.  All of these products are exclusively for export to the USA from China, and the Chinese don't care about product safety where it's our lives at risk.  Assuredly, though, if they make products safe, it is because they don't want to see their profits interrupted.  This is ironic considering that they're commies.  Actually, all operations are government-owned, so when you buy 'made in China' you are arming the People's Liberation Army/Navy, where the vast portion of proceeds go from U.S. sales.  When you buy Chinese, you are financing the eventual invasion of America; because the Chinese government stillconsiders us to be their enemy and their plans have not changed.  Read Sun Tsu's "The Art of War" to understand what motivates their desire to be our economic friend while remaining our military enemy!

For all of you who want to see more products made in America, and sold to Americans, now is your chance.  Let's boycott 'Made in China' completely and start buying 'Made in USA'.
It may seem difficult to buy only American made products, especially when giant retail chains use their economic power to facilitate American dependence on trade with China.  However, their tune would change if enough Americans were to simply stop buying Chinese goods and simply look harder for the 'Made in USA' label.  With the current outrage over tainted and toxic Chinese products, we have the potential for the first - but possibly only - chance to get our selves out of this 'finger puzzle' of so-called 'free trade'.

Americans must stop listening to the siren song of the 'free trade' crowd.  Free trade may be dandy for the Chinese, who really DO see it as 'free', but there is no such thing as a 'free lunch', and free trade is costing Americans aplenty.  It would be better to have FAIR trade where disparities in economic systems placing American workers at a disadvantage are compensated for through reasonable tariffs and imposts on goods and services coming to America from abroad.

I could write more on this subject, but this is a complex subject on which I would scarcely claim competence; I am not an economist or an international trade expert.  Instead, I will leave you with a link to an article by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, syndicated columnist and former Asst. Treasury Secretary (for economic policy) under Ronald Reagan in the early '80s: "Cato's Trade Report Blinded by Free Trade Ideology"

Roberts makes a clear case and provides understanding to the differences between comparative advantage and absolute advantage in labor and international trade.  By wedding themselves to a utopian vision of international free trade, the Libertarian establishment undermines its efforts to build a political base among Americans.  We're smarter than that; or perhaps, we're smarter than them... because we have to work for a living in the real world rather than cogitate in the comfort of an ivory tower.  Trade, like freedom, isn't really free.  You have to pay for it.
